The KIA Cerato is available in a choice of a Theta II 2.0-litre DOHC four-cylinder petrol engine or a Gamma 1.6-litre engine DOHC four-cylinder petrol option. Alternatively the Cerato also offers a Koup option, a first for KIA, entering the market fitted with a Theta II 2.0 litre DOHC four cylinder engine.
